For the last 6 months IY LEGAL has assisted a corporate client with the sale of a business which designs, builds and provides a pioneering modular home for use on retirement parks in the UK. The transaction involved complicated IP issues connected to the prototype unit and challenges with supply chains and debt reorganisation across group companies. The Buyer – a UK construction company – was represented by a London law firm.
The transaction completed successfully for both parties.
