We have regularly handled the full range of dry and wet disputes that involve the carriage of goods by sea, under most forms of Charterparty, Bill of Lading, contracts of affreightment and salvage/LOF agreements, concerning many shipped cargoes, including bulk, oil, grain, liquid, gas, chemical and containerised cargoes, onboard a wide variety of vessels, such as Bulk Carriers, Panamaxes, Handy Size vessels, Tankers and Chemical Tankers, VLCCs & ULCCs, Container Ships, Reefers and RoRos.
We also have in-depth experience of, and expertise in, the specialist contracts (including the range of relevant BIMCO contracts), issues and disputes relevant to the marine offshore sector, which involve vessels operating in oil and gas fields, supply vessels, drilling rigs, AHTSs, PSVs and other off-shore vessels, FPSOs, FSRUs, FLNG vessels, off-take vessels, storage units, heavy lift vessels, pipe laying barges, sub-sea units and alternative energy vessels.
For almost 30 years we have successfully represented owners, charterers, shippers, cargo interest and underwriters, shipyards and P&I, FD&D and Hull & Machinery Insurers in very many Arbitrations – concerning a wide range of routine, significant, complex and high profile disputes, often under the LMAA Rules.
