During the first quarter of 2023, IY LEGAL has been heavily engaged advising an investor client on its intended acquisition of an insurance company group which writes a wide cross-section of business in the UK and elsewhere. This project involved UBO issues, shareholder arrangements, regulatory approvals and on-going due diligence and SPA obligations.
